Washington DC – The Embassy of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, in Washington, D.C., in its capacity as a designated Verification Center, wishes to advise that the verification process for Bahamas Government employees currently assigned to, or on study or work-related training within the jurisdiction[i], is currently underway at the Embassy, which is located at 2220 Massachusetts Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C. 20008.

In accordance with requirements set out by the Public Treasury Department of The Bahamas, employees to whom this notification applies, are kindly requested to present themselves at the Embassy, along with one of the following government issued photo identification, in order to be verified:

  1. Bahamian passport
  2. Bahamian Driver’s License
  3. National Insurance Smart Card
  4. Voter’s Card

Further, please be advised that the verification of employees will conclude at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, 31st August, 2017.
