On Saturday, 16th December, 2017, H.E. Sidney Collie, Ambassador of The Bahamas to the United States and Permanent Representative of The Bahamas to the Organization of American States, hosted a cocktail reception at the St. Regis Hotel, to welcome the Honourable Dr. Hubert A. Minnis, Prime Minister of The Bahamas to Washington D.C. The Honourable Darren A. Henfield, Minister of Foreign Affairs of The Bahamas was also in attendance.

The Prime Minister and Foreign Minister took the opportunity to address members of the Bahamian diaspora and friends of The Bahamas.
