Washington, D.C. – On Thursday, July 21 2022, His Excellency Wendall Jones, Ambassador of The Bahamas to the United States, participated in the 27th Experience America trip to Wilmington, Delaware. Led by the United States Department of State, Experience America was created to connect ambassadors with academic, business, community, and cultural leaders outside of Washington, D.C.
Ambassador Jones joined over 50 ambassadors in visiting the University of Delaware’s Science, Technology and Advanced Research (STAR) Campus, the DuPont Experimental Station and Global Innovation Center and participating in a Delaware Business Leaders Roundtable.
Since its inception in 2008, more than 100 countries have participated in Experience America trips to over 20 U.S. cities. The July 2022 visit to Delaware marked the first Experience America trip of the Biden Administration.
