2017 Scholarship Opportunity for Citizens of The Bahamas
Scholarship Application Deadline: May 31, 2017
The General Secretariat of the Organization of American States (GS/OAS), through the Department of Human Development, Education and Employment (DHDEE), and the Government of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, through the OAS Partnerships Program for Education and Training (PAEC), are offering partial scholarships to qualified applicants of The Bahamas to participate in certificates, undergraduate and graduate degree programs in the United States and Canada.
The Scholarship’s benefits for up to 25 potential scholarship recipients includes a $7,500 grant from The Bahamas Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, $1,000 grant from the OAS and the negotiated tuition concession on offer from the respective partner institutions. For this 1st cycle of the Scholarship there are 9 partner institutions from across the US and Canada.
