WASHINGTON, D.C.- On Thursday, 20th February 2020, His Excellency Sidney Collie, Ambassador of The Bahamas to the United States of America and Permanent Representative of The Bahamas to the Organization of American States (OAS), spoke to students of the University of the District of Colombia (UDC). The students will represent The Bahamas at the upcoming Model OAS simulation, scheduled for April 2020.

Ambassador Collie’s discussion with the students included dialogue on Bahamian foreign policy objectives, the relevance of the OAS in the Americas, and the importance of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM).

Ambassador Collie was invited to speak with the UDC students by Mr. Paul Tennassee, Adjunct Professor of Political Science.
