The Leadership of the General Conference of Seventh-Day Adventist Church World Headquarters and officers of the Public Affairs and Religious Liberty Department paid a courtesy call on H.E. Wendall Jones, Ambassador of The Bahamas in Washington D.C. on Monday 8th June. The visit to the Embassy was organized by Dr. Leonard Johnson, General Vice President, a Bahamian who recently took office.
During the meeting the growth and diversity of the Ministry of the Seventh General Conference-day denomination in the Bahamas and around the world was discussed. Among the issues was the church’s witness including its involvement in the prevention of non-communicable diseases.
