Nassau, Bahamas – On Tuesday, 1 October 2019, a United States congressional delegation, led by Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister the Most Honourable Dr. Hubert Minnis.
The delegation also included Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart; Congressman Gregory Meeks; and Congresswoman Frederica Wilson. Chargé d’Affaires Stephanie Bowers of the US Embassy in Nassau and Mark Green, Administrator of US Agency for International Development (USAID) accompanied the delegation.
The delegation visited Abaco and Grand Bahama and pledged its support to recovery and reconstruction efforts.
