On the 13 June 2026, the Embassy of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas in Washington D.C., hosted “An Evening of Harmony” a musical celebration held under the patronage of the Hon. Frederick A. Mitchell, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, that took place at the Millennium Stage, John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
In celebration of the 53rd Independence Anniversary of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas in conjunction with the 250th Independence Anniversary of the United States of America, the evening showcased performances from four Bahamian artists: Dr. Dion Cunningham, Tonique Brown, Keith Colon, and Ezekiel Thompson.
