On 25 April 2024, Permanent Secretary Bridget Hepburn and Superintendent Cassandra Penn, representing the Ministry of National Security and The Bahamas, paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Wendall Jones, Ambassador of The Bahamas to the United States. 

PS Hepburn and Supt Penn were in Washington, D.C., from 25-25 April 2024 to participate in the 24th Regular Meeting of the Inter-American Committee against Terrorism (CICTE) of the Organization of American States (OAS). The purpose of this meeting was to discuss the implementation status of measures to prevent and combat terrorism financing in the region, analyse trends and share best practices and challenges encountered by member states.
