On 20 April 2024, Ambassador Wendall Jones opened his residence to the Bahamian American Association of the Washington Metropolitan Region (BAAWMAR) for their inaugural fundraising souse-out.
Bahamian-Americans in the DC Metropolitan area were able to reconnect and partake in local Bahamian dishes like, stew conch, boiled fish and chicken souse.
