On 10 November 2025, the Embassy of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas officially celebrated the opening and the naming of the newly renovated Chancery, the “Livingstone B. Johnson Building”, on 2220 Massachusetts Avenue NW, Washington, DC, 20008.
The event featured remarks by Prime Minister, the Hon. Philip Davis, KC, MP, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Hon. Frederick A. Mitchell provided remarks at the event. The celebration also featured cultural performances by the Royal Bahamas Police Force Band and the Bahamas National Youth Choir.
