On Thursday, August 24, 2023, H.E. Maria Luiza Ribeiro Viotti, Ambassador of Brazil to the United States, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Wendall Jones, the Ambassador of The Bahamas to the United States.
During the courtesy call, both Ambassadors discussed several matters of mutual interest, including Climate Change, the crisis in Haiti and matters of trade.
Brazil is the second-largest economy in the Western Hemisphere behind the United States and is the world’s ninth-largest economy. It has abundant natural resources and a relatively diversified economy.
Ambassador Jones invited the Brazilian Ambassador to visit The Bahamas to experience the hospitality of the Bahamian people.
