APPLICATION TO APPLY FOR THE ADVANCED POLL: FORM J
MUST APPLY BY THURSDAY, 26 AUGUST 2021, 3:00PM

Dear Bahamians,
Voter Registration is closed, all REGISTERED voters overseas must complete Form J to participate in the advanced poll and be a Bahamian Citizen posted or enrolled overseas, who remain ordinarily residents in The Bahamas: According to 49A of the Parliamentary Elections Act (2021) the following categories, and are either eligible to participate in the advanced poll:

• Staff Members of any Embassy, High Commission, Foreign Mission, or
• Staff Members of the Bahamas Maritime Authority, or
• Public Officers or Staff Members of the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism abroad,
• Students currently enrolled in bona fide studies at universities and colleges abroad, or
• Spouses of said Students, Foreign Officers or said Public Officers of Bahamas Government Agencies
• Immediate family members living within the household of the members of staff

Eligible Overseas voters applying with FORM J, must also be in the following category:
• A confirmed traveler already scheduled to be out of the country on Election Day (Document Required)

• Doctor certified individuals with illness, infirmity, pregnancy, or recently pregnant, (Document Required)
Please submit the following documents:
• Voter’s Card
• Passport identification page
• U.S. Visa
• I-20 Form Students
• Any other supporting documents

Please email the aforementioned documents no later than Thursday, 26 August, 2021 at 3:00PM to info@consulateofthebahamasdc.com.
