WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Thursday, November 17, 2022, H.E. Wendall Jones, Ambassador of The Bahamas to the United States of America, participated in a panel discussion hosted by American University’s School of International Service and media group We Don’t Have Time.

The discussion focused on the 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference and issues related to the intersection of climate change, justice, and equity. Ambassador Jones highlighted the strides being made by the government of The Bahamas to combat the threat of climate change, including the government’s innovative blue carbon credits legislation.
