On Tuesday, May 4, 2023, Ambassador Wendall Jones, Ambassador of The Bahamas to the United States, paid a Courtesy Call on the Mayor of the District of Columbia, Mayor Muriel Bowser. Ambassador Jones and Mayor Bowser took the opportunity to discuss areas of mutual interest, including hospitality, doing business, and education opportunities in the District.
Further, Ambassador Jones invited the Mayor and her staff to the 50th Anniversary Celebrations in Washington, D.C., organised by the Embassy of The Bahamas Consular Annex.
