Agreement Signed Between The Bahamas and Kosovo

On Tuesday, 20 January, 2026, a historic bilateral agreement was signed between the Government of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas and the Government of the Republic of Kosovo at the Embassy of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas in Washington, D.C. The document executed between both countries provides for the mutual exemption of entry visa requirements for holders of diplomatic, official/ service and ordinary passports of each country.

 

The Agreement was signed on behalf of the Government of The Bahamas by His Excellency Wendall K. Jones, Ambassador of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas to the United States of America, and on behalf of the Government of Kosovo by His Excellency Ilir Dugolli, Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo to the United States of America. This milestone follows the formal establishment of diplomatic relations between The Bahamas and Kosovo on 19 December 2025.
