AFRICAN UNION AMBASSADOR HILDA SUKA-MAFUDZE PAYS COURTESY CALL ON AMBASSADOR WENDALL JONES
On 30th July 2024, H.E. Hilda Suka-Mafudze, Permanent Representative of the African Union Mission to the United States of America, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Wendall Jones, Ambassador of The Bahamas to the United States of America. During the meeting, discussions regarding the recently convened 2024 Afreximbank Annual Meetings and its significance to the promotion and advancement of African-Caribbean relations were had. Ambassadors Jones and Suka-Mafudze also discussed the commonly shared historical and cultural ties between Africa and the Caribbean, as well as ways to further strengthen partnerships for economic prosperity and a sustainable future.
