The Chief Justice of The Bahamas, Sir Ian Winder, along with Mr. Justice Bernard Turner of the Court of Appeal, were in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday, 12 August, attending meetings of Ministers of Justice, Attorneys General, and Prosecutors of the Americas. The meetings were organized by the General Secretariat of the Organization of American States (OAS), through the Department of Legal Cooperation of the Secretariat for Legal Affairs. The meetings included cybercrime training workshops organized within the framework of the OAS/REMJA Working Group on Cybercrime. The Justices also paid a courtesy call on The Bahamas’ Ambassador to the United States, H.E. Wendell K. Jones, at the Embassy located at 2220 Massachusetts Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C.
