On 3 June 2026, the Embassy of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas welcomed a delegation from Bonefish & Tarpon Trust (BTT) to discuss shared priorities in marine conservation, sustainable fisheries management, coastal stewardship, and ecotourism.
Ambassador Wendall K. Jones was joined by Ashley Munroe-Cargill, Acting Deputy Chief of Mission, and Sonia Rose, Executive Manager in the Office of the Ambassador, for discussions on protecting The Bahamas’ world-renowned flats fisheries and advancing sustainable economic opportunities through conservation.
