His Excellency Wendall Jones, Ambassador of The Bahamas to the United States of America, His Excellency Chet Neymour, Ambassador of The Bahamas to the Organization of American States and Mr. Patrick Adderley, Consul General of The Bahamas in Washington, D.C., hosted a reception on July 15, 2022 at the St. Regis, Washington, D.C., to celebrate The Bahamas’ 49th anniversary on independence.
The reception was attended by members of the diplomatic community and the Bahamian diaspora.
The event featured performances by the Royal Bahamas Police Force Pop Band and the North Carolina based Baha Nations junkanoo group.
