Delegation of The Bahamas to the 47th OAS General Assembly in Cancun, Mexico

 

The 47th Regular Session of the General Assembly of the Organization of American States was held at the Moon Palace Arena Convention Centre in Cancun, Mexico on June 19th – 21st, 2017. The theme for the General Assembly was: “Strengthening Dialogue and Concerted Action for Prosperity”. The Bahamas was represented and the delegation was headed by the Honourable Darren Henfield, Minister of Foreign Affairs.  Other members of the delegation included: Mrs. Sharon Brennen-Haylock, Director General; Mr. Chet Neymour, Deputy Chief of Mission and Alternate Representative to the OAS; Mr. Mikhail Bullard, Second Secretary and Alternate Representative to the OAS; and Ms. Shagerra Edgecombe, Foreign Service Officer.
