On Monday, April 24, 2023, officials of Patriot Strategies and the Washington Intergovernmental Professional Group (WIPG) were told of opportunities for investments in The Bahamas. The group hosted a Meet and Greet Reception for H.E. Wendall Jones at the Patriot Strategies office. The event was co-hosted by Mr. George Seymore, President and CEO of Patriot Strategies, and Mr. Nelson Garcia, President of the WIPG.
The reception allowed Ambassador Jones and accompanying diplomatic officers to engage with and educate members and guests from WIPG, Patriot Strategies, the business community, United States Congress and United States Federal Agency staffers about The Bahamas. In his address, Ambassador Jones told the audience that the assets of The Bahamas, combined with the vision of governmental and industry leaders and the warm hospitality of the Bahamian people have served as the winning formula for the spectacular growth of tourism and financial services.
The reception also included Celebrity Chef Dr. Elliott Farmer, who presented food and beverage inspired by The Bahamas.
