Washington, D.C. – On June 13th 2022, Ambassador of The Bahamas to the United States, Wendall Jones, met with President of the United States, Joseph Biden, in the Oval Office of the White House.
 
In a letter to Ambassador Jones, President Biden highlighted the friendly relationship between The Bahamas and the United States, including the “long-standing friendship and partnership between our nations, as well as our enduring commitment to mutually beneficial trade and investment, regional security, and cultural exchange.”
 
Ambassador Jones was appointed Ambassador to the United States of America by the Honourable Philip Davis, Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, on March 7th 2022.
 
Ambassador Jones also serves as The Bahamas’ appointed non-resident Ambassador to Colombia and Malaysia.
